You can only choose the way you get around if the right infrastructure supports that choice. Safe and connected networks of streets, sidewalks, protected bike lanes, and greenways let you walk, ride, roll, take transit or drive with comfort and convenience.
City Thread is a national, non-profit organization working to connect people and communities. By accelerating mobility and place-based projects, they make streets and spaces accessible and comfortable for everyone - no matter what mode they choose.
Join us for a webinar with City Thread partners, Sara Studdard and Zoe Kircos, to learn about the Accelerated Mobility Playbook (AMP) and how city governments and community organizations can work more efficiently to change the way you get around in as little as 24 months.
City Thread’s AMP approach provides an assessment of a city’s capacity and implementation readiness against global best practices, and recommends tested solutions to overcome common challenges that delay projects and fail to deliver on community needs. Sara and Zoe will discuss why it takes so long to make changes to city streets and spaces and how the process can be improved. Their approach has been implemented in 14 U.S. cities, making mobility easier for people on bikes, on foot, on transit, and in cars.
