Lilly Weinberg, Senior Director/Community and National Initiatives, Knight Foundation
Lilly Weinberg joined Knight Foundation in August 2012. She is the senior director with the Community and National Initiatives, managing Knight’s $140 million investment in 18 small to midsize Knight communities.

Weinberg graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School and the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she concurrently earned master’s degrees in public administration and business administration. While attending graduate school, she worked with the Boston Redevelopment Authority and the New York City Economic Development Corp., in both cases creating strategies to promote economic development, entrepreneurship and business growth. She also worked with CVS Caremark on successfully developing new marketing and digital strategies.

Meg Daly, Founder at Friends of The Underline
A 30-year sales and marketing veteran, Meg owned First Media Direct, a breakthrough target marketing company catering to the broadcast television industry. She has also held executive positions in the public relations, advertising and real estate industries. Meg has a BA in English from Vanderbilt University and has served on numerous philanthropic boards. She is currently CEO/President of Friends of The Underline and Chairwoman of The Underline Conservancy and a board member of the Miami-Dade Transportation Trust.

Asima Jansveld Managing Director, High Line Network at Friends of the High Line
Asima has over 20 years of urban planning experience focused on the intersection of social & economic impacts of place-based policies & programs, and currently leads the High Line Network, a learning community for reimagining urban infrastructure as open spaces. She works with project leaders to help them work towards goals of social equity and inclusion to build collective impact. Previously, Asima served as a Principal at HR&A Advisors, leading projects in the Resiliency & Inclusive Cities practices for clients such as the Rockefeller Foundation, US Conference of Mayors, and the NYC Department of Education. Asima also worked as Deputy Programme Manager at the European Urban Knowledge Network and Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

Bryan Boyer, Director of Bachelor of Science in Urban Technology, Assistant Professor of Practice in Architecture, Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, University of Michigan
Bryan Boyer is cofounder of the architecture and strategic design studio Dash Marshall, as well as Assistant Professor of Practice in Architecture and Director of the new Bachelor of Science in Urban Technology degree at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

Boyer's professional background mixes design, technology, and government innovation. At Dash Marshall he runs the studio's strategic design practice, working with clients such as Google, Sidewalk Labs, IKEA, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and the Museum of Modern Art to understand and envision the ways in which technology enables urban ways of life. Previously Boyer was cofounder of Helsinki Design Lab, a design team within the Finnish Innovation Fund and one of the first design teams working at a national level, with a focus on policy issues such as carbon reduction, education, welfare services, and economic development. He started his career in technology by designing and programming user interfaces and for a number of early stage startups.

Boyer's publications include LEAP Dialogues: Design for Social Innovation: Case Studies from Around the World (2021), Career Pathways in Design for Social Innovation (2016), Brickstarter (2013), Helsinki Street Eats (2012), Legible Practices (2013), and In Studio: Recipes For Systemic Change (2011). During 2019-2020 Boyer was the Eliel Saarinen Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Planning 2019-2020. He serves on the board of directors for Public Policy Lab in New York City and is based in Detroit, MI.
